Ahhhhh........PEACE! Isn't that something we all desire? Even in the midst of everything that we have going on in our lives, we can still have that peace that surpasses our understanding. At one time, I didn't have peace. My mind was in a state of chaos, but when I made up my mind that I wanted the Lord's help and really meant it, that is when I began to feel different. More different than I ever had. Another thing that helped me was getting into the word. I men really spending time with God and trusting that HE was able to take care of what I couldn't and then know that regardless, peace was a choice. Choose peace my friends! There is nothing better than, but there is nothing worse than walking around with "no peace" which shows all over your face (well at least mine anyways) and it just creates a wall that you don't want to start building. Find comfort in HIS word.

Phil 4:7 reads:  And God's peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Trust God and HIS word. He will never let you down!

It's The Weekend Baby.....

Whoop bam pow!!!! It's the weekend. Do you have any special plans this weekend? Not a whole lot going on in my world. Lunch with my daughter on tomorrow, time with my grandson and then study time. I enjoy the "What I have to do's" in life. What I want to do is something that I just do. Like spending time in the word, reading the two books that I'm reading, scrap booking and spending time with my hubby. Gotta love the simple things in life. We have the power to make our lives what we want too. I choose happiness.....what about you? I choose joy, what about you? I choose to live a life filled with purpose and be totally authentic. It's just not that hard. But we make it harder than it has to be. Remember.......we were created in HIS image and if we can remember this, we would know it's gonna be ok. Be Encouraged because that's what you were Kreated to do!

Encourage Someone!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far. God has been doing some really great things and it's all because I refuse to allow anyone or anything to come in between our relationship/fellowship. Living the life of obedience is a choice that I made and I love it! Love God first and then choose to love YOU!!!!! Be a blessing and encourage someone this week.

What a wonderful message. So appropriate for what we all need!

Are you happy on this morning? Is it because it's Friday or do you just naturally feel happy because God chose to allow you one more day to praise HIM, encourage someone or extend a hand to one in need........ I could go on and on. I am "HAPPY" for all of those reasons and many more. God is so faithful and just because he gives us chance after chance and opportunity after opportunity to do what HE wants us to do. We should not only be happy but grateful. Enjoy your day and remember to encourage someone. Your life could be a whole lot worse than what you think it is!

Excitement!

How excited am I? When I looked up the word excitement, it means: A feeling of great enthusiasm and eagerness. I had lunch with my boss and I can say that she's the best. After really talking to her, I realized that we are so much alike and that we basically want the same things. We both love Ministry and it makes so much since seeing that we work at a church. Well honestly, I can't blame it on working at a church because God chooses whoever he wants. But what an incredible place to be associated with. Patience is the key though. Allowing God to take us step by step is to me one of the hardest things to do. I'm the type that wants to help Him out a little, but the more I get in the word, the more I have to step back and let Him do the work that He wants to do in my life. Vavavoom........ there you have it. WAIT ON ME!!! That's all I keep hearing. But.....my heart, my heart, my heart. My heart cries out for the young women that are lost and have no idea as to where to go, how to go, or even where to start. Now how excited is one supposed to be to want to be the miracle in the life of a young woman because it's what God wants you to do? Think about it. Nothing pleases God more than to seek and save the lost. God is awesome and I'm sticking to those words. Whoop, bam pow! I am more excited that you'll ever know!!!!!

His Word Speaks To Us....

We throw our doors open to God and discover at the same moment that He has already thrown open His door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand - out in the wide-open spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise. (Romans 5:2)

Peace

Whoop there it is......at the close of our James study on yesterday evening, my prayer request was for peace. Then low and behold when I open up my Jesus Calling book on this morning, the first sentence reads "Peace is my continual gift to you." How awesome is that? God is amazing! I already have it...all I have to do is start trusting God and know that I know that I know that peace is mine during any given situation. Will it be easy all the time? Nope, but my trust in our Heavenly Father reassures me that it's his continual gift to me!Have a wackky and wonderful Wednesday!!!!!

Here We Go......

Ok...so here it goes.......Today was a wonderful day and I can assure you that it didn't start off that way. It amazes me the people God places in our lives. I have a friend and I can truly say "friend" named Virginia and when I went to her office on this afternoon to vent as I quite often do, the entire conversation went from blah, blah, blah, to Yay God over and over and over again. It was simply amazing. Hence, my new blog. The crazy thing is I had created a blog a couple of years ago which was tied to my future business (which I will one day reopen it) but I could not for the life of me remember nor find the password. If you take a look at it, my last post date was over a year ago. It saddens me, but all this happened because I was "Kreated to Encourage." So here we are! This go round, it will be totally different. That I promise. Will I post everyday? I don't know, but as often as I can, I will. I have to make sure that I speak into the lives of those that are hurting. No matter how mundane, encouragement helps. I was and still am encouraged on a daily basis, so I want to do and be the same to others.
